Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Flightform ("Flightform," "we," "us," or "our") and its powerlifting meet management platform (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you are a minor, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent, guardian, or coach. You are responsible for the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

2. Use of the Service

Flightform provides tools for organizing, registering for, judging, scoring, and viewing powerlifting meets. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable law or the rules of any federation or meet;
  • Access or interfere with the Service or accounts using unauthorized means;
  • Disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including competition data; or
  • Upload content that infringes the rights of others or is unlawful, harmful, or abusive.

3. Meet Organizers and Competition Data

If you organize a meet, you are responsible for the accuracy and lawful administration of that meet, including registrations, scoring, results, and compliance with any applicable federation rules. Competition data, including names, attempts, and results, may be displayed publicly as part of the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate rights and consents for any information you submit about others.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the information and content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant Flightform a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content as necessary to operate and provide the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Flightform and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you in these Terms, we reserve all rights in and to the Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that competition results or data will be free of errors.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flightform will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us, if any, for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars ($100).

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Hampshire.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date above. Your continued use of the Service after any change indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
